Chlorine. Chloramine. PFAS.

Then there is what you cannot taste.

Chlorine

Your tongue usually catches it.

Chloramine

Most tongues miss it.

PFAS

Every tongue misses it.

So the assessment opens with what your utility has published about Los Angeles water. Facts first, guesses never.

Three ways water gives itself away

In Los Angeles, nearly every water complaint lands in one of these buckets. Each takes a different fix, so we look before we quote.

Hard water leaves a mark

LADWP's 2025 water quality report puts average hardness in treated water between about 6 and 14 grains per gallon, depending on which plant serves your neighborhood. That is the white crust on the faucet, the film on the shower door and the spots on every glass.

Chloramine in every glass

LADWP disinfects its drinking water with chloramines, a blend of chlorine and ammonia that stays in the water all the way to your tap. A carbon stage at the main line takes it out before it reaches the kitchen sink.

Different water across the city

In 2025, 44 percent of LADWP's supply came from the Los Angeles Aqueduct and 52 percent was bought from the Metropolitan Water District, from the State Water Project and the Colorado River. The blend changes by area, so the right system depends on where you live.

City of Angels Water Pros • Local water treatment

Built for Los Angeles water.

City of Angels Water Pros works across Los Angeles, matching each house to the system its water calls for. That might be whole home filtration, reverse osmosis for drinking water, softening, carbon filtration, well water treatment or city water treatment. You get a straight answer, a careful install and a system that keeps doing its job.

  • Matched to your water. The system follows your water quality, your source and what you have noticed, not a catalog.
  • Every tap covered. Treated at the main line, so showers, sinks, appliances and pipes all get the same water.
  • A faucet just for drinking. Reverse osmosis at the kitchen sink, for the water you drink and cook with.
  • Straight talk, solid work. Clear answers, careful workmanship and better water that lasts well past install day.

Fair questions.

Missing yours? Put it in your assessment request. Nobody asks a dumb question about their own water.

A phone call. We walk through your water together, then you get the system we would fit and its exact price. You pay nothing for any of it.

No. The written number is the one you pay. If something about your house would move it, you hear that before a single tool comes out.

At the spot where water comes into the house. Usually that means the garage, a utility room or an outside wall.

Floor space for the tanks, plus clearance to lift the cabinet lid and reach the bypass.

Keep the cabinet topped up. That is it. The setup notes spell it out.

Then the sizing changes. A well shifts through the year in ways a city supply does not. We do both.
